Description

Orphan Fansubs is pleased to present Hidamari no Ki (A Tree in the Sun), from 2000. This series will be released in four mini-batches, with a final batch at the end.

Hidamari no Ki is based on a manga by Tezuka Osamu. It is a historical seinen and tells the story of two men - one a young doctor (and Tezuka Osamu's great-grandfather), the other a young samurai - caught up in the turbulent events of the Bakumatsu. No. Please see the uploader's comments on the raw: "What of this video, you ask? Is this not a proper adaptation? No, it is not. This is an audio drama set to an art reel, and to live-action short of “modern” Egypt. What a serious disappointment."
