Probably have to wait for upto 12 hours for the 1080p release as it's not released on netflix yet and they might make some adjustments to the subs prior release.

Just finished this. Oh. My. God. Human mind cannot fathom how good this is. Every aspect of this show is far beyond perfection. Clearly years ahead of its time. This is what all other studios will strive to replicate for the next ten years at least. Need to say, it makes any other anime (even Kyoani ones, even the Hyouka) look like a sad joke in comparison.

After seeing Violet Evergarden I had to lower the rating of every other anime I have ever seen. There are series that I wholeheartedly believed were a 10, but after VEG I had to put them down to a 6 because there is just that much of a gap between them. Anime has peaked and I don’t think I can go back to watching work from any other studio.

How can other shows this season compete

Damn this was so much better than episode 1. The animation is so beautiful as well, so much detail its insane. A lot more drama too, it was nice.

HAPPENING

I am glad to see Vivid still alive but, Is there always going to be a 1080p v2 ? One thing I know is ,the first to release never means it is always the best release . Vivid and Asenshi are two groups I highly respect. Thank you for you hard work.

How are you guys faster than Horriblesubs if you are actually fansubbing and not just ripping from CR (or I guess netflix in this case) like they do? Or are you also just a CR rip-group?

@Bowrabbit HorribleSubs rips Netflix which is later than it is broadcast on TV which this is. Asenshi then does a v2 with the Netflix rip which is (mostly) superior
