@motbob, check the website.

Oops, I tried to delete my comment but you saw me in time. (The comment was basically "lmao why 2.5GB")

2.5gb? Noice my entire network bandwidth in a day. Philippines btw -_-

PAS, you bloody rock! Thanks for this helluva bloat!

Grains Collection.

Could the person in charge of encoding update their x264 binary so we don't end up with broken 4:4:4 files?

If source is CR, did you upscale 720p or downscale 1080p?

grain is love, grain is life

@AXZ, how is it broken? I QCed it and it played fine. EDIT: oh I just asked some other fansub encoders. Apparently there's a bug in some builds of x264 that caused issues in 4:4:4 encodes but they're not major and if you use mpv or hpc, you're fine. Interesting. Yeah, I'll update it. @Neo, read the website. EDIT: Oh wait that doesn't say. I downscaled from 1080 with Hi444PP.

https://git.videolan.org/?p=x264/x264-sandbox.git;a=commit;h=de281381ceed2c9f5e8756aa59349f6af5828e44 Older x264 builds (I think up to core 150) will produce broken 4:4:4 files, which will result in corrupted video in certain situations (e.g. missing SEI when resuming playback). Afaik recent mpv builds have a workaround for this problem but I would update x264 regardless.

@AXZ, gotcha. Will do. Sorry about that.

Just use the newest vanilla x264. There is no reason still using a tmod or kmod build. With the latest version some custom patches are broken, so they had to leave some stuff not updated.
