2017 still wants 8-bit
I know this is a big old onion but for those not left DVR discs for HD's 8 bit actually plays better on many media devices & for that matter 720p is often better too unless fully HDef set up. May also possibly play easier than some newer encodes if system has lower/old memory if using say VLC (have noticed older encodes can be less glitchy in this regard - Pot64 player really helps if this is your issue).
Actually, there is an anime website catering to devices with limited computing power. cellphoneanime.com
thanks for the file
It’s one of these releases that look okay most of the time, but sometimes heavy compression artifacts appear in a still scene and don’t go away for a few seconds… At least in MX Player on Android. The filesize is small, but otherwise not worth it IMO. Unless it’s just the matter of the player or Android’s codecs, I don’t know, and I don’t feel like testing it.
Can I easily convert a 10 bit video into 8 bit?
