Many thanks anon

as always, thank you.

I have to ask.

Why are you forcing Spanish subtitles in the mkv container? It's pretty annoying for non-spanish viewers.

Chronosdk Calm down Donald, you just gotta disable other subs. It's not like they're on each other...

@Tehe You're an idiot Setting it as the default one is not an issue, setting a force flag on that track is the issue.

from around 12:30 the subtitles are out of sync

@Kenkimaru The subs are out of time from the beginning. I'm assuming the whole ass file is off slightly and just gets worse as it continues.

@Chronosdk, animefan1488 Tried putting flags in LAV splitter's subtitle via tray icon? Like so: eng, jpn, etc. It don't work for me in MPC itself and works fine in PotPlayer tho so this'll make sure this lil set back doesn't bother you next time

@noZA_ I'm using Plex. But since the Spanish track are forced, it overwrites any settings for subs. If he didn't force it, any subs setting would be in effect, and there would be no issue.

Then just use the header editor in mkvtoolnix to change the forced flag.

@coffeemilk, i have sonarr in place to handle series/anime. And having to manually fix the mkv every week is a bit annoying, when forcing a subtitle track is unnecessary. First world problem, I know. :)

And I'm not trying to sound disgraceful for his work, or trying to start a flame. I'm simply wondering why the need to force the spanish subs track, when setting default would be enough.

noZA_ I've been using plex for years now. When the force flag it set, it overwrite any setting i can set. I have to manually change them every single episode. Without the force flag, it would work flawlessly.
