what CGI? I dont remember seeing CGI heavy animation.
There was CGI when they revealed the identities & the collosal Titan appeared. There is also CGI in the OP. There is also use of slightly bad CGI when they do groups of soldiers riding on horses.
^ Yeah. People say season 2 is better than season 1. But animation speaking, season 2 didn't hold a candle to season 1, that CGI was really atrocious... the soldiers running after the titan looked like micro-machines or something.

Afraid not. I checked out episode 6 just now and the colossal titan is still fully CGI. Pretty much (if not exactly) the same as the TV version. CGI in the OP hasn't been improved either.

lol stop complaining, the cgi is pretty beast in most scenes, it is used the smart way if you actually use your brains. letdown my ass LOL

Source is 8-bit. These days most high-quality groups encode at 10-bit due to better compression & better looking debanding/gradients.

Oh so I'm not allowed to voice my opinion? Grow up. I can complain about that awful CGI whenever and wherever I want to. I thought it looked laughably bad compared to the stuff from season 1. So yes, a big letdown indeed.
