Welcome to part one of the Durarara revamp project! I've been working through the entire set of Durarara, starting with season one up through Ketsu (coming soon :3). I love this show, had to make sure it got done right. Every release so far of every season has been flawed in some way, and all unwatchable to my degree of snobbery. Thus, we begin with Durarara season 1 here.

We've got TCL for video here, providing good 10-bit quality and less cropping than Kuroi-Raws or Coalgirls' offerings. Special thanks to Koby for providing TCL's 1080p release, which never made it out to the public. Lossless audio was sourced from Kuroi-Raws, who happened to include both the English and Japanese tracks. Finally, the subtitle tracks are from Coalgirls, which are an edit of AnCo²'s script, with signs and typesetting taken from several releases including gg, Ecliptic-BSS, and Commie. I've gone through the series once more with some minor updates, most importantly restoring the Russian dialogue to episodes where it was missing, as Coalgirls neglected to include the translation for any spoken Russian dialogue on the signs track (which includes a particularly long conversation later in the series, actually. Very frustrating as a dub viewer!). Finally, I've restyled the dialogue in Coalgirls to match the Kametsu dialogue styling on the subtitle track, which will be the standard going forward for the entire Durarara project here.

Finally, a thanks to the Kametsu team for letting me take this project on from their existing workand polish it up for a final release! It's been good.
