Finally i found a perfect DVD release! NTSC progressive! Great quality, clean lines, edges are not too oversharpened. Most likely Blu-ray release was up-scaled from uncompressed source of this DVD version. Currently this is best PC friendly DVD release version. RECOMMENDED! RECOMMENDED! RECOMMENDED!

Problems with other releases: https://nyaa.si/view/13081 NTSC interlaced version. IVTC deinterlacing in VLC player not always works well and so high motion scenes produce interlaced artifacts.

All current Blu-ray releases are not real HD scans but simple upscaled, smoothed and oversharpened SD version. Even some tiny Interlace artifacts are visible. Also line edges are crazy oversharpened. Don't waste your time and space to classic FLCL Blu-ray. Maybe sometime later we'ill see real re-scanned and re-mastered in HD Blu-ray release.

@neirotransformer I'm not sure if a true HD remaster is possible considering the fact that it was mastered in NTSC and I'm pretty sure produced on computers at the time
