Synopsis

The story is about Sasamoto Kunpei (Ito Atsushi) a man who was never popular and works for the City Hall, without passion for his job. He's the kind of person who always gives up, but one day he meet by chance Tachibana Yuki (Katsuna Shiori), a former classmate who works as "boat-woman" at the river of the rural area called Uji, where they live and he falls in love with her.

The girl is more or less good in what she does, but she could never be better in anything compared to other girls, for example she's not able to get the boy she likes.
So the two of them tries to face the reality where they live, and grow up, surrounded by the beautiful natural scenary of that town.
