Captain Harlock refused to surrender to Illumidas (Mazone) race who has conquered the Earth. Harlock joined with Daiba Tadashi, an orphan who hates the earth new government; Mime, the last alien race whose home world was destroyed; and other interesting characters such as Yatran and Maji.
(Originally meant to be a TV release in summer 02, Outside Legends production was delayed, TV release was cancelled and the series was released as an OVA. In autumn `03, it was then rescheduled to be broadcast on TV Nihon.)
