Sailor Moon S 90-93 Fandub

In the late 1990s, before Cloverway announced the official dub & release of Sailor Moon in North America, a group of Sailor Moon fans, headed by Mark Sprague, decided to get together to produce a dub of the Sailor Moon S series. In 1998 the first four episodes were released on video. Further episodes were promised (even following the Cloverway dub announcement), but none were ever made and the Sailor Moon S fandub site was later replaced by mark's next project (a webcomic which also no longer exists).

The episodes are named as follows:

93. Meet Michelle, the Elegant Genius!

With the recent announcement from VIZ that they are to produce a full uncensored re-dub of all series of Sailor Moon, I decided to get out my old VHS tape of the Sailor Moon S fandub and digitize it for posterity.

This fandub stays true to the source material, although all the names and so forth from the DIC Sailor Moon dub were kept, new names were given to the new characters and an English translation of the "Tuxedo Mirage" ED theme was made which features at the end of two of the episodes.

Initial transfer from VHS (PAL) to DVD
All episodes encoded using Avidemux 2.56
Video: x264, 640x480, 25fps (PAL), 2 pass encode
Audio: AAC 128kbps

This release also includes a zip file which contains a fan made video case cover (MS publisher file), video spine label and video face label (jpg).
