Description

Why it is so big:

  • http://check2pic.ru/compare/32980/
  • Insane blocking in each frame is removed, it was just painful for watching.
    (If you fix it and then encode it at ~35-40Mbps it looks like the BDMV - block and bitstarved)
    x264 caused blocking again (during the encoding), but it it too small to be noticed in fast motion and grain.
  • Bitstarved grain is restored.
  • Black borders removed.
  • The funniest thing is the fact that the episodes are on the same size if you use ordered chapters
    Why it is 8bit:
  • HW decoding (only NvidiaPureVideo 4th and 5th gen are able to decode such bitrate, NVIDIA CUVID in LAV Video Decoder)
  • For software decoding I guess that you need at least i3 or mobile i5...
