[MJN] & [F-B] Major 1-26 (Season 1) .avi DVD version 2005-10-26

I'm not a part of either group, I just haven't seen these ScaryWater torrents mirrored on Nyaa yet. I'm hoping this will draw attention to the series so that people will watch it. I've only seen this season so far, perhaps we can seed the later ones and help each other watch this baseball.

Other good baseball anime are "Touch", "Taisho Baseball Girls" and I heard "Wind Up" though I haven't seen that one yet.

This anime's actually pretty intense and emotional. From what I've seen so far, could be the best baseball anime.

After season 1, you guys will want to see the movie. It came out in 2008 (when the series was well into season 3 or 4) but it apparently takes place between seasons 1 and 2, so we should probably watch it before season 2. Or not, and just watch it later, may not matter.

There weren't any torrents for the movie that I could see on Nyaa so I uploaded the three I found on AS:

Froth-Bite and Minor Ja Nai are the only groups I know to have done the first season.

MJN goes on to do the 2nd season (27-52) alone, competing with the teamup of Saizen and Hell.

MJN does the third season (53-78), and Saizen also solos the 3rd season.

For season 4 (79-104), MJN solos once again whereas Saizen teams up with Anime-Empire and SD Project.

For season 5 (105-129) MJN is the only group I know to have done it.

Past this point (it will take a while to get there) the coverage of season 6 seems to be more sporadic. MJN did 139-142, I am unaware if they worked on 130-138, or did 143+.

A new group called "Umai" has done episodes 130-155, so they may be the best to go for. I don't know if there is a batch torrent exclusively of their work, I'll find out when I get there I guess. Things like this aren't as important for those of us just starting out on the series.

So yeah, until MJN appears to drop it (unless AS just sucks and didn't find their torrents) they seem like the go-to group in terms of consistency. For those who like to shop around groups, viewing Saizen's work (solo or team-up) on the series would be an interesting option, I know they've done good work on other sports anime.

MJN's work is included in 2 full-series batches I have seen:
Apr 18 2010 mohammed2006: #125278 (only 3 eps form season 6)
Feb 12 2011 Anonymous: #193534 (probably missing episode 155, the season 6 OVA which umai only translated April 8 2011, all earlier episodes by all groups were completed in 2010 and earlier)

I'm uploading this on its own because I think those batches can intimidate some people and the numbering and various folders could be confusing. Some people know how to download only partial batches, but for those who do not, they wouldn't know how to prioritize viewing season 1 so they can begin enjoying the series right away.

Stay tuned for multiple season 2 torrents. I'll probably link them in comments here later, but right now I haven't even seen S2, so lol.
