📝 Project Notes & Details

🏀 It is finally here! I am thrilled to announce that the Slam Dunk (New Edition) project is complete.

🏀 For those just hopping on board, this batch contains all 20 volumes covering the complete story from start to finish.

🏀 Thank you everyone for your patience and support along the way! The project took longer than originally expected, but an all-time classic like Slam Dunk deserves a definitive release.

• Structure: 20-volume structure based on the Japanese Shinsōban // French Star Edition.

• Sources: Mostly scans (600dpi) of the official VIZ English physicals, with select inclusions of French Star Edition digitals and colour pages sourced from the Chinese Kanzenbans typeset into English where appropriate.

• Packaging: Volume covers, table of contents, and title pages have been rebuilt and typeset to mimic what an official English VIZ Star Edition or Shinsōban release would look like.

• Dedicated Extra Volume: In previous single-volume releases, bonus illustrations and original covers were tacked onto the end of each book. Now, to provide a clean(er), more continuous reading experience, all supplemental material has been compiled into one standalone extras volume. Inside, you'll find:

  • Original Tankōbon & Kanzenban covers
  • Chapter splash art and volume gallery illustrations
  • English author notes (Note: Unfortunately, due to a past hard drive failure, only 22 of the original 31 author notes are currently included. Apologies. If the missing notes are recovered, this extra volume will be updated later).
  • etc.
