[Orphan] Gulliver no Uchuu Ryokou (1288x542)

Orphan presents a new version of Toei Douga's 1965 feature-length cartoon Gulliver no Uchuu Ryokou (Gulliver's Space Travels). This sci-fi children's tale owes its inspiration to Gulliver's Travels but is not based on the book.

Ted is a street urchin in an unnamed European city. Kicked out of a movie theater, he is almost run over by a truck. He dreams that he finds companionship in a talking stray dog, Mack, and an equally verbose wide-up toy soldier, the Colonel. Together with the now-elderly Professor Gulliver, they venture out into space, hoping to reach the Green Planet of Hope. Instead, they encounter a race of whimsical robots that are victims of the much larger robots they created to serve them. Ted, Mack, the Colonel, the Professor, and the Professor's crow Kuro must fight the aggressor robots, with nothing more than their wits to help them.
