Monsters (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese one-shot manga written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It was published by Shueisha in the Autumn Special issue of Weekly Shōnen Jump in October 1994.

Ten years after the theft of a legendary, magical Dragon Horn, a wandering samurai named Ryuma drifts into a quiet town and is saved from starvation by a kind waitress named Flare, the sole survivor of a horrific dragon attack that decimated her village years ago. Ryuma’s strict samurai code dictates that he now owes his life to his savior, but his gratitude is quickly complicated by catastrophe.
