Not mine, originally found on 4chan. DarkieBigPeenus found an orignal 8mm copy of daicon 3 on a business trip to japan and had it scanned and restored

Assholes did a full restoration of the diacon 3 and 4 film but held it captive in japan only showing it at select conventions. nah fuck that, if they dont have the balls to release a restoration to the public then I'll do it my fucking self. On my last trip to Japan i found a film print of daicon 3 at the thrift store. Yes, unlike 4 which was only sold on laserdisc at the actual 4th daicon, 3 had a film release ath the third daicon. Very limited I was very lucky to find it. Now the corpos that hold onto the long since rotten cock of gainax cant cuck us anymore by holding both hostage.
