Spc_away, well, if the anime is used to support license sales, then it would need to run for several months in order to create a large enough support window to accommodate licensees buying their several week license at different times in the season. Even hotels buy licenses such as there may be a dessert tie in sold by room service where there is a fantastic attractive garnish made by the alchemist for that dessert. <-- I remember watching a youtube video about hotel stays where the hotel reviewer bought some of these meals and desserts with various licensed anime themes. These items are obtained from some fulfilment company of course as they are not made at the hotel. I can only assume that fulfillment company serves up the same attractively promoted dessert for multiple hotels and companies elsewhere in greater Tokyo.
