So like... this was pretty decent. Even with all the horrible ghosting and consistency issues I enjoyed it. I mean... it's not amazing by any measure but compared to the slop we got before... Maybe that's why I enjoyed this "better" animation. I'll give it this much, the robot was pretty well animated.
If only the entire season was like this. Shame.
Either way, best animation we got so far this season.
The action did last longer this episode compared to last week, but it was riddled with weird direction choices and jump cuts that completely broke the flow of the battle, plus you can really see where they cut corners. And this was supposed to be the best episode of the season according to the producer, lol. The action in last week's episode was much better IMO. But at least we didn't get any neon disco filters this time.
