Story

A.C. (After Colony) 195—The space colonies launch "Operation Meteor," sending Gundams to Earth to fight the United Earth Sphere Alliance, which seeks to rule them by force. After witnessing one of the Gundam pilots, Heero Yuy, a young woman named Relena Darlian is swept into a whirlwind of fate. The other four pilots on the same mission—Duo Maxwell, Trowa Barton, Quatre Raberba Winner, and Chang Wufei—are drawn to one another, but a trap set by Treize Khushrenada, leader of the secret society OZ, causes them to wipe out the Alliance's pacifist faction. This incident thrusts OZ onto the center stage of history.

Story

A theatrical film re-editing the three-episode OVA with newly animated scenes. A.C. 196. The great war between the colony nations and Earth is over, and the Earth Sphere Unified Nation has been formed. This new government aims for peace through non-violence and disarmament. But one year to the day after the war's end, on Christmas Eve of A.C. 196, diplomat Relena Peacecraft is abducted at the X18999 colony. Her kidnappers are a rebel army led by Mariemaia Khushrenada, who claims to be Treize's daughter. Mariemaia declares an uprising against the Unified Nation, launching a new "Operation Meteor" with MS Serpents and the resource satellite MO-III. In response, the government's intelligence agency, the Preventer, joins forces with Heero Yuy, Duo Maxwell, and the other Gundam pilots who helped end the last war, as they rise to fight once more.
