lmao I thought I was going crazy with how trashed the video quality was on this but then I realized you encoded a double-length episode down to the same filesize as I've seen you generally target for a standard-length episode. Not sure why you decided that but whatevs. The screenshots don't really expose the issue since most of the issues appear in dark scenes (a lot in this episode) and during motion. This show kinda visually looks like shit anyway without all that, at least in some scenes, not very impressed with it in that sense. Trash goes in trash comes out, I guess. Not much you can do about it even with filters.

The filesize difference is mainly due to dual-audio while the following episodes have several more audio tracks. I agree, I wasn't quite happy with this release. I tried a lower image quality target which is partly to blame, but also the heavy filtering this series has is a challenge, particularly in flashbacks. I'm working on a new release for a seasonal batch.
