In the year 2100, mankind has left Earth and now inhabits other planets beyond the Solar System. Will, a rebellious teenager, receives a strange telepathic message from an unknown girl. He befriends a ragtag team of space prospectors and together they trace the message to a faraway unknown planet, which turns out not to be as unknown as they originally thought.
