Thanks to the people involved in this release, including the sources. Years in the making! It would be fair to say I have learned a lot about AV1 encoders working on this show. The best encoder of the moment would change so frequently I would have to restart all of my testing every so often. I want to thank the patient people on the server that followed the progress for all this time. I'm relieved it's out at last. Enjoy this masterpiece!

Encoding wise, Steins;Gate 0 was thoroughly zoned to increase grain synthesis in scenes where it is necessary (mostly flashbacks). Otherwise, it's pretty much a constant CQ19 level. For Steins;Gate (og series), I adjusted my auto-boost algorithm to better suit the show. It was allowed to go from CQ16 to CQ24. I manually tweaked some scenes and re-encoded others during my re-watch to match my quality standards.

Airing Watch Order (first-time recommendation):

Watch Steins;Gate entirely, You can watch the OVA and the Computing Specials, Then Watch the Movie, Then Watch the Alternate Episode 23 also called Episode 23β, Then Watch Steins;Gate 0 entirely. You can watch the OVA.

Re-Watch Order:

Watch Steins;Gate up to Episode 22, Then Watch the Alternate Episode 23 also called Episode 23β, Then Watch Steins;Gate 0, Then Watch Episode 23 and 24 of the Original Steins;Gate Anime, Then Finish with the Movie.

Language Options You can download here two scripts that do the following (Windows/macOS-Linux):

• Keep Japanese: Throws out all audio tracks other than Japanese
• Keep English: Throws out all audio and subtitles tracks other than English

Put all the video files into the Language Options folder and run the corresponding script. The resulting files can be found in the output folder.
