The layout of the subs on that other file for me are fucked if I try to watch in VLC, but then it works fine in MPC-HC but in MPC-HC the audio is worse.

Once again, CR manages to release something in mono, in 2024. Their track record for figuring things out and fixing it isn't very good either. I give it at least five episodes before the show surreptitiously swaps to stereo. Meanwhile, guess it's time to grab from a different group.
Edit: The VARYG release, the one with all the different languages, manages to be in stereo. Letting people know where to go until CR gets their sh-- together. Or maybe not even then.
