Neither, we use Vapoursynth (Python video processing library) for filtering, and then x265 for encoding. I guess technically we use ffmpeg for demuxing and some audio encoding (though the audio for this was passed through from the source), but barely.
thnkx , btw are u using FFmpeg or handbrake the app??
