Release

Rescaled/Descaled then encoded in AV1 and OPUS for optimum size and quality. This release is separate from the 2nd season which was encoded from a BDRip rather than directly from the BD. Files are named to support media servers like Plex using TVDB metadata.

Encoding Details:

Starting with the JPBD, we employed VapourSynth to rescale/descale the image and vastly improve upon the overall sharpness visible in the comparison linked below. This release was encoded with our very own Normal-Boost encoding setup. For more details, experimental data, and other wild conjectures, we invite you to join us in the Discord server.

This project is a production with the goal of the smallest video size with significant subjective compromises to image quality. This is not the hallmark of AV1, but close enough. This release should only contain changes to the video stream and audio tracks. The subtitle and attachment tracks are usually copied from the noted sources. Timings are not adjusted except in cases of extreme delay as a result of mixing sources. - Sav1or
