Release

A complete Multi Audio release in AV1 and OPUS for optimum size and quality. Files are named to support media servers like Plex using TVDB metadata.

Note: We understand every other release has labeled the OVAs as S01E14-S01E17, however we must reiterate that we strictly adhere to the naming conventions that use The TVDB as their metadata source.

Encoding Details:

This release was encoded with our very own Normal-Boost encoding setup. As such, the CPU preset and CRF values were selected per scene based on an initial measurement of quality from the first pass and thus the two values listed in the command below are inaccurate. For the most demanding scenes, a minimum of preset 2 and CRF 20 was used. Conversely, the simplest scenes would have a preset of 4 and CRF 32. However, most normal scenes are weighted towards CRF 26. This allows for smaller file sizes and improved quality in select scenes. We also chose to use a lower variance octile to retain more background textures. This project is a production with the goal of the smallest video size with moderate subjective compromises to image quality. This is not the hallmark of AV1, but close enough. This release should only contain changes to the video stream and audio tracks. The subtitle and attachment tracks are usually copied from the noted sources. Timings are not adjusted except in cases of extreme delay as a result of mixing sources. - Sav1or
