No it doesn't, still works perfectly ever since ever. Looks like it's a you problem, not the software's.
You have to adjust it in LAV Splitter.
I recently updated the k-lite pack, including the latest (last) mpc for av1 codec.I did not changed any presets, just updated, with same settings, the new had issues, the old worked. Mpc-be, runs without issues with the factory settings. Because no more support or development will be available in the future for mpc-hc i still recommend mpc-be and mpv. Both have pros and cons but they just do the job. ps: i already deleted the HC.
We're reaching levels of no one asked that shouldn't even be possible.
Track selection is under lav splitter in internal filters. You must have reset your settings to default.
MPC-HC have serious issues about track selecting (audio and subs) Latest version ignores any user presets. Recommended player is MPC-BE.
