Just FYI about the franchise, EVERYONE/EVERY GROUP that has TL'd it has either mixed up military ranks with job titles, or used the wrong rank for the service a character is part of, including this effort.

Extremely late reply, but yes, within the WW universe the characters use Japanese ranks in dialogue (for the sake of the native audience), but in-universe the witches officially use RAF ranks (not as an overseas translation thing, this is from the JP side).
