Really enjoyed this episode. Very interesting how they weaved some of chapter 3 from the manga into chapter 2. Worked very well and I'm really enjoying this far more than the 1994 anime.
They just need to animate the post-Kyoto arcs well and it's golden.
This episode proved to me that the studio behind this remake of a classic is planning to do a serious high quality adaptation, they are not just remaking Rurouni Kenshin, their real intention is to surpass & replace the original in the hearts & minds of the fans, as a big fan myself of this show since the 90's I'm very happy with what I have seen till now & my anticipation increased for what might come in the future, what I wanna say in the end is give me more, I speak for new episodes, keep them coming 😛
