Notes: Now with both OP and ED subs! Interestingly, there's a skill in this episode that the Japanese subtitles have presented as 毛狩り (CR = Wool Hunting), but last season there was the skill 毛刈り (CR = Shear), with what looks like the exact same effect. For now we're going to stick to 毛狩り (Wool Hunting) for this episode, but signs are pointing towards the Japanese AND Crunchyroll subs getting it wrong. Any contributions one way or another from Japanese speakers are welcome. Let us know of any errors in the comments or on most fansub Discords.

The term for removing wool from an animal is 'shearing', wool hunting sounds like a google translate copy/paste.
I think we all know what shearing is, but it’s not so much the translation itself we’re focusing on, but whether the original Japanese is correct. However, Wool Hunting is a fine translation if it is in fact the different kanji here, with 狩 pretty much meaning hunt, vs 刈 meaning trim, thus Shear being good there.
For the "Wool Hunting" thing, I found where in the light novel the part in question matches with, but it doesn't happen in the novel. Maple's Wool skill was burnt off by a monster attack at that point. I guess they had to make up a way to get her out of the Wool ball without a monster that they cut out of the anime for their speed run through the content. :/
Sally does have the "Shearing" skill, she doesn't have anything even close to "wool hunting". I'd say that someone made an error.
