I smell something... Smells like a REPLACEMENT in here.
^ I want to like this as a replacement for my existing files, but it's not there and it's the subs' fault.
- OP styling is trash.
- Dialog color choice and thin outline makes it blend into the background video often. Especially indoors.
- I was watching ep 2 last night and there are a couple dialog lines that are too long to fit on one row, so they were displayed in a reduced font size to make them fit instead of just... breaking them into two lines.
- On the game playback screens the dialog subs were displayed on top of the in-game dialog typesetting -- when the subs weren't even needed... because the game dialog is literally a printing of the character's lines, so redundant subbing.
Yeah, I could fix this stuff, but it would require editing every episode in some way. I might try a remux of the subs from my Coalgirls files into this. I got no qualms with Yurasuka's encoding -- good stuff as usual. Just some stupid TS/QC decisions from the people who made the subs.
I finished my rewatch tonight of this season, watching almost every episode from this release.

Episode 8 has an issue with sub styling when Kodaka has internal thoughts a few times in the episode, like here. I figured this was a missing font originally. But looking at the script, no -- the lines were just left in "Default" style in the script itself instead of set to be the correct style. Looking at ep 7, the normal "Main" style was used for in-head thoughts just like those spoken aloud.

There is an instance of video corruption in the encoding of episode 9 at 12:41. This is the only video problem I spotted in all the episodes I viewed.
