After 10 months of work, I am now happy to bring you: Yes! Precure 5 Go Go! Re-translated. Re-timed. Re-everything.
Nine years ago, this series was fully subbed. It took fans nearly four years and 3 different sub groups to do it, but they made it happen. Unfortunately, the long, long journey left Precure GoGo with some glaring issues that I thought needed to be rectified. So, I decided to take those musty old subs and remake them into something much better. I hope I managed to breathe new life into this old show, and that fans old and new will be pleased with this release.
What you can expect from this new translation:
- Fixes to all the TL errors (I could find) in the old Doremi batch
- Consistency in terminology, stock phrases, name spellings, flashback scenes, etc.
- New stock phrases for Urara and Rose
- OP, EDs and insert songs have new lyrics (some more than others)
- Some less stilted dialogue, and just a lot of different phrasing overall
- Better typesetting (nothing fancy though)
- Honorifics? Yes
- Gobis? No
