These aired for free viewing, so I suppose there is a pretense of legitimacy to these (if you ignore that no ads are shown, etc), whereas it's impossible to ignore that a BD rip is straight-up piracy. I'm not judging someone for downloading either one, just providing a possible answer to your question.
