.: Trama :. E' passato ormai molto tempo dall'ultimo grande scontro tra Aogiri e gli investigatori anti ghoul, ma il giorno in cui i ghoul e gli esseri umani potranno convivere pacificamente sembra ancora lontano. Questa nuova serie è incentrata su un investigatore di nome Haise Sasaki a cui è stata affidata una squadra formata da quattro quinx, ovvero degli investigatori a cui è stato impiantato un kagune per migliorare le proprie abilità fisiche. Ben presto però, si accorgerà dell'esistenza di molti misteri riguardanti il CCG e la nascita dei ghoul. Questa potrebbe essere l'occasione giusta per scoprire la verità che si nasconde dietro agli scontri tra queste due fazioni.
