There's quite a resemblance to gacha: the whole point of this anime is to collect waifus. So, people with tendencies for one thing, tend to flock to the other and vice versa. What can I say? It's not even about isekai, nor adventuring, nor topics like polygamy. It's either amusing or not. Why it could be amusing? May be the reason I've stated earlier. That is what such type of medium brings all together - be it tropes, personalities and/or familiar interactions.
