We haven't officially dropped Fire Force S2, however no progress has been made on it and doesn't look like it'll happen any time soon.
So you can consider it dropped until progress happens.
Long way of saying it is on permanent stall.

In regards to the ED, there was one line different in Commie's release of episode 1 compared to 2-6.
one through ten leads me back to -> it all leads me back to
well, i'm pretty sure some of the english is wrong, but i'm not gonna fix that until the official lyrics are out. supposedly that's before the next episode airs though.
Where are the official lyrics posted anyway?
well i got the op lyrics from the music video for it on the musician's youtube channel.
but in general there's tons of websites. just google the name of the song in japanese + 歌詞 and you'll find them.
