o.O That must have been lots of work. There are many great tools for automatic downloads. For manga Hakuneko works the best with a lot of popular manga sites: https://hakuneko.download I also like Manga Downloader by Red Squirrel http://redsquirrel87.altervista.org/doku.php/manga-downloader

JDownloader is another great tool. http://jdownloader.org/ . Not so much for extracting pictures from sites, but it is a great download manager. Like some for example when danke posts multiple Mega links, like danke does. You can JDownloader to queue up downloads and don't have to manually clicking on every download. Also very convenient for downloading DDL chapters from from scanlators for example.

what’s a floppy drive? that drive contains my collection

Never mind the floppy drive. Drive letters A: and B: was reserved (like 20 years ago) common when people used floppy disks ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floppy_disk ). So I thought you still had a computer with one. But now I see you probably just relabeled an external drive.
