not rly a concern for most-but i prefer subtitles even with dub versions of files. I have a deaf friend who I enjoy watching anime with, and I enjoy the dub.

@irishfusion42: Unfortunately Funimation is very inconsistent when it comes to closed captions for the English dubs, and will many times not include subtitles at all with the dub, even on the official website. Just a suggestion, you should probably be grabbing the Japanese subbed version of the anime for your deaf friend, considering the dub doesn't really apply to them since they are hard of hearing. There are also dual audio versions of shows available as well that you can download.
