@nx6 - video is by kagura as mentioned in description. most of the competent encoding groups use jpbd unless specified otherwise

Yeah, thanks. I missed that in the description. I can't say I'm familiar with CHOTAB's subs.

I was wondering how this compared to NP-C's release, but I just now realized I have the folder mislabeled as 8-bit, and it's also Hi10P like this. So not as big a difference as I thought. NP-C's has 16 ref frames, but about 1 mbps higher video bitrate here.

This is a higher quality encode, without the ordered chapters found in NP-C's release.

Chotab subs: Subtitles taken from NP-Complete, restyled and retimed with extensive edits.
