pog, that break was pain

Daily reminder that Mappa sucks and I miss Wit Studio.

@Valyrious MAPPA>>>>>>>>>>>WIT

awesome work as always!

hell yeah baby war crimes

Why did this episode have a warning at the beginning? I've never seen that in AOT

@Valyrious I agree mappa sucks for aot wit was way better.

@bankai LMAO. Nobody's gonna agree with you on that. Yes, even those that are hypnotized by Mappa.

@rawSenpai They're taking on too many projects, and it shows. God of High School started out promising, turned into an incomprehensible mess. Jujutsu Kaisen's action is good, but the story is absolute crap.

And this episode of Attack on Titan had some really lazy and lackluster animation. Such a shame, because it was my "do or die" for Mappa to prove themselves. Now I'm gonna piss myself laughing when they fail next episode's Warhammer Titan fight.

@Valyrious Agreed about God of Highschool, though being a webtoon and produced by Crunchyroll certainly didn't help that series. But Jujutsu Kaisen? Really? It's got consistently stellar animation and certainly an above average story, so far at least. Can't remember the last time I watched a Shounen and didn't hate one of the characters instantly. Besides, they're just sticking to the source material for now anyway. And I'm not sure what exactly you expected out of this AoT episode, or why this specifically was your personal "do or die" for Mappa. It was a world-building and lore episode for the most part, 95% of it was just conversations and set up. So where would good animation get a chance to shine in an episode like this?
