is because MakeMKV does not rip each episodes but outputs 1 large file size of the exact BluRay

this isn't really MakeMKV's fault btw. If you decrypt the BD and the drop the first mpls file in mkvtoolnix and allow it to scan the rest, you'll see that mkvtoolnix will extract the m2ts files in the exact same way. Mkvtoolnix will also tell you what m2ts files are used by what playlist (mpls). I know it's a pain to manually cut it, but it's just the way the bluray was authored. The tools use the playlist info and some playlist programming will concatenate all m2ts files into one continuous file, then divide it into chapters. Many Japanese BDs are actually authored this way too.

An alternative is to make a decrypted BDMV backup then manually remux the m2ts files into mkv since each file usually corresponds to an episode. Then you don't have to do any chapter splitting in mkvtoolnix. But you'd be missing chapters within the episode and would have to manually create those if you want them, which is even more painful IMO

I got so much BluRay series i would like to rip and upload, but i keep getting put off, since i know i would have to cut each episodes manually and it takes too long. I could have just be lazy and upload the whole 1 single mkv file of 57.7GB, but i personally like each episodes separate.
