Description
Tang San is one of Tang Sect martial art clan's most prestigious disciples and peerless in the use of hidden weapons. With high expectations, the sect's elders believe his future will be bright; yet Tang chooses to forsake this life at the cost of obtaining the sect's forbidden lore—an action punishable by death. Tang, now content with his ascension of knowledge, sees no reason to keep on living and jumps from Hell's Peak, but little did he know that that would not be the end of his existence.
In Douluo Continent, the strong prevail and the weak perish. Each person possesses an innate spirit, some of which can be cultivated and strengthened, bestowing its user with various benefits. Those who were born with such spirits can become Spirit Masters, a profession regarded as one of the continent's most noble.
Tang, reincarnated into this strange world, knows only the life of a blacksmith's son. At the age of six, he takes part in the Spirit Master ceremony, and discovers his spirit is Blue Silver Grass—supposedly the world's most useless spirit. In contrast, however, he possesses strong spirit power. Now, aided by the memories of his previous life as well, Tang's future as a Spirit Master is in no way bleak.

Upscaled Not the kind of upscaling done by an AI which also reduces details on clothes for example. It's a plugin of my video-editor which makes everything more detailed and makes the 1080p look a bit higher then usual. In a way it's comparable with sharpening.

Sharpened Not too much, I've added sharpening to make things more detailed and it helps a tiny bit to remove some pixels.

Sources SacredGold & Tsukudakobashi recommended me to use source from GM-TEAM which I've done but allot of scenes have been cut weirdly or are very choppy, those scenes have been replaced with the official YouTube version. In short, I have used both GM & YT versions as sources.

Extra Scene Added the suicide scene which was shown in the GM version but not in YT version.

Audio Fixed In certain scenes the audio sounded or too loud or to choppy, it's fixed now + now also available in higher bit rate.

Subtitles Fixed Allot of subtitles have been fixed in pace and English + added some new subtitles for the suicide scene. (lines from the Novel)

Encoded Original file size was 1.4gb which is now reduced too 748mb, if I went lower the quality looked a bit worse which I don't want. The compressed version is in quality around 4% less then the original file + I went of course for HEVC etc.

Because this is an Chinese anime, it means it's not very popular which is very unfortunate since it's one of the best anime ever made in my honest opinion. So if you're downloading this, would you please be kind to seed the torrent back? you can't call it colour correction if colours are adjusted merely to suit your tastes.

the plugin name was called Color Corrections. Nothing wrong with using that name. I added the "Color Corrections" especially for the YouTube version of Douluo Dalu to get it close to what we could call "Blu-ray" version of Douluo Dalu done by GM-TEAM.
In the end I decided to add it for GM-TEAM too which isn't too much visible on GM version but it is on YT version. So it would look like they're both from 1 source. I also had some proof watchers (friends) and they agreed it looked somewhat better.
Some may agree, some may disagree. I'll apologize if I offended anyone by doing so.
If you're going to say that the author meant maybe something else with the colors then I am going hardly disagree with you on that because the Official version looks alright but the colors are way lighter and less contrast compared with GM version which had more colors in it.
I don't mean any of this in a harsh way :3 -- just sharing my thoughts!

no offense taken. when one says colour correction then there needs to be original colours to be compared against. the only colours you have access to are youtube and GM version. calling either version as original colour would be far fetched considering both vary quite a bit.
calling GM version Blu-ray would be wrong. idk what they are, WEBDL or WEBRip.
Can you add before and after to see the differences? You can use slow.pics for that. Please also include the version in the file name for example "[VipapkStudios] Douluo Dalu S1 - 001v2 [1080p].mkv"

Sure, do you only want to see the color difference or together with sharpening/upscaling?
I've got some scenes in my head of this episode that are very good examples to show, also used by the people who said that I should've gone with GM instead of YT when they made comparisons.
You should post raw vs. final, or you could add the color difference between them if you want.

Awesome! So here comes another question. I was thinking about releasing that version as a batch instead of separate like I am doing now. What do you think I should do? :3 I wouldn't mind either way. But even if you decide I should upload them separate, I'll be uploading them hidden and they will only be findable in the comment section and description. Same goes for the batch(es). It'll only confuse people in the end if I'll add them public hahah.
I've already encoded the first episode in lower quality and you definitely see it's compressed and way lower quality, the pixels a little bit. BUT it looks imo still better then the default YouTube version which probably has to do with GM raws which are better quality. :)

Very detailed description, I like it. It seems to be made into 60fps, but the frames in between don't add anything. (in vlc, you can see there is no frame interpolation; instead they are just the same frames repeated).

Thanks! I want everything to be in there if possible. That of 60 FPS happened accidently to be honest hahah. I have a default render settings ready when rendering a video. But in the end I don't think it matters anyway, it's still 24 FPS. I was surprised myself when I saw it showed 59.94 FPS in the file haha.
It's the same with the 2nd Episode which I'll upload in 5-6 hours. I've decided in the end to just upload them like that.

The torrent itself has been pretty much seeded. I think your torrent is stuck, it was the same as @Jjampong. Remove the the torrent and download it again. It should work fine this time. :)
