Yeah, I'm aware. Most of Crunchyroll's 1080p's are just upscaled 720p's (though there are a few diamonds in the rough - native 1080p releases), but that's a whole new argument I'd rather obstain from. lol.

CR got lazy with their encodes a couple of years back. They still use CBR but just doubled or tripled the bitrate.
