[Orphan] Sensou Douwa - Yakeato no, Okashi no Ki (1080p)
Orphan presents the first English version of the 2006 TV special Yakeato no, Okashi no Ki (The Cake Tree in the Ruins). This is the fifth show in Shin-Ei Animation's Sensou Douwa (War Fables) series. It is based on a short story by Nosaka Akiyuki, who also wrote The Grave of the Fireflies. For more information, see this blog entry.
The raw is a 1080p web stream. It's both upscaled and bit-starved, but it's the only raw available.

@AdamEve - there are seven other shows in the series (see the blog). Two Walnuts has been released in English, by Saizen. Orphan intends to do all the others.
