Yeah, as Impakt has already pointed out the sidebars are incredibly annoying. Any chance you could possibly make a release without them?

@Tjorna being a RAW, it's part of the broadcast.
You could crop it there are plenty of programs out there, it's quick and easy.
@Tjorna I don't remove the border because the text in the top left corner is overlaid with text at beginning

The TV logo? I see what you mean. I'm watching an old show in 4:3 AR on FOX Crime, and if the black bars were to be cropped out it'd be "FOX C" which isn't a big deal, tbh.

Yep, that's what I meant. It's just so odd they went with that choice for bars than just black ones.

@powas, No it's not. That's re-encoded badly cropped trash, the bad crop there is actually worse than having the full bars on the sides.

Those "colorful" borders are rather noticeable, though.
