YUV 4:4:4 is just the chroma subsample that was used for the video. That has nothing to do with fansubs. Just plain old erai.
i think the point is the chroma was pointlessly upscaled
Can't you see their luma was feeling lonely so they upscaled the chroma so they can be happy together you heartless monsters
