The source inherits the same picture type as the web source; post processing sharpening, which introduces of course ringing, haloing and aliasing. The filterchain was not that hard actually. It consists of very weak denoise, rescale using a mix of FSRCNNX and nnedi3 to get rid of the ringing due to the Lanczos upscale (I'm not sure actually but it's the best kernel I found to deal with the halo), slight chroma shift for the OP, antialiasing, and edgecleaner/deringing to remove the last ringing and dirty noise around lineart. Oh and weak deband + grain because lmao, how can you encode japanese cartoons without deband your shit (^:
