It would seem that Raging Blast was ultimately Spike and BANDAI's best effort at making a Tenkaichi game, and afterwards everything just became stale for them. RB2 was like an expansion (much like Dimps' XV and XV2 more like XV 1.5) and UT/UB.. Well, pretend that never happened (except for the awesome graphics and anime cutscenes).

Raging Blast on its rear covers even mentioned "Next Level Tenkaichi" so they really were aiming to make RB as "Tenkaichi 4", just without calling it "Tenkaichi 4".
