Lupin goes undercover in the Zufu Republic as a prison warden in order to try and help some people escape who may be able to help him find the former king's treasure. After he finds the location, his first attempt at getting the treasure is unsuccessful, and he is chased out (along side with Jigen and Goemon) by traps all over the place. The traps are long cables with claws at the end.

After his presence is known in the country, a $1,000,000 bounty is placed on his head, Dead or Alive! Soon it seems every bounty hunter in the country is after him. Now he most be concerned with this, and the Zufu treasure. ... source anidb
